The school says the home in Oakwood near the university will be the residence for all future Dayton presidents.
Incoming president Eric Spina will take office in July.
The house has 7,300-square-feet home and sits on just over an acre of land. It includes a guest house.
The head of the university’s board of trustees says they look at the house as a long-term asset and that has space for gatherings with donors and community leaders.
