Crabtree, a junior, and a Pre-Exercise Physiology at Ohio University has seen limited action in his first two years, playing in 15 games. He has made 25 percent of his 3-pointers and both of his free throw attempts in 25 total minutes.
Prior to coming to Ohio Crabtree played four years of varsity basketball at North Union High School, in Ohio. He averaged 14.8 points, 3.2 assists and 1.8 steals in his senior season and was a captain. Also at North Union High he played four years of football and baseball.
Crabtree had initially walked on in 2013 before head coach Saul Phillips told him today that he had received a scholarship.
Crabtree and the Bobcats look to continue their winning streak Wednesday, at home, against the University of California, Riverside.
