2016 Girls Basketball Division II, III, IV Sectional Brackets

The OHSAA released the 2016 Girls Basketball District Tournaments Sunday afternoon.
Play-in games for Division II and IV start Feb. 8 with first round games for the rest of the teams beginning Feb. 11. Listed below are the teams in our coverage area and their first games, seeds and opponents.
Division II
#8 Athens (5-13) vs. #9 Gallia Academy (2-15) at Logan High School on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
#3 Vinton County (13-4) vs. #6 Meigs (8-10) at Logan High School on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m.
Division IV
#8 Federal Hocking (5-14) vs. #9 South Gallia (3-14) at Meigs High School on Feb. 8 at 7 p.m.
#6 Trimble (9-9) vs. #11 Green (0-14) at Meigs High School on Feb. 10 at 7 p.m.
#1 Waterford (15-1) vs. Federal Hocking/ South Gallia at Meigs High School on Feb. 11 at 6:15 p.m.
#2 Eastern (13-5) vs. St. Joe/ Miller at Meigs High School on Feb. 13 at 1 p.m.
In Division III, play-in games kick off Feb. 10 and first round games start on Feb. 13. Listed below are the teams in our coverage area and their first games, seeds and opponents.

#1 Alexander (12-5) vs. New Lex/ Zane Trace at Athens High School on Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m.
