3 Cincinnati Cops Kill Suspect, Say He Tried to Pull a Gun

CHEVIOT, Ohio (AP) – Police say a man was shot to death by three police officers when he reached for a gun in southwest Ohio.
Three Cincinnati police officers killed the 36-year-old man around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday in Cheviot, about 6 miles northwest of Cincinnati.
Lt. Steve Saunders says the unidentified officers fired an unknown number of shots at the unidentified man when he reached for a gun in his waistband.
Saunders says police received reports that an intoxicated man was waving a gun. He says a truck was found crashed into a utility pole. Officers determined the driver fled and may have been the suspect.
Saunders says the suspect was caught and initially cooperated with police before trying to pull out a gun.
All three officers have been placed on leave.
