International Women’s Day Festival

International Women’s Day takes place each year on March 8. Ohio University celebrated that, along with Women’s History Month, on March 13. According to the OU Women’s Center website, “the International Women’s Day Festival provides an opportunity for the campus community to highlight women’s and girl’s achievements, to reflect on women’s status today, and to imagine a future where all women are valued as local, national, and global citizens.” Abby Grisez reports for The OUtlet at WOUB News.
