Ohio’s Adryan Earns MAC East Player of the Week

He hit .375 with a team-best .875 slugging percentage and compiled six hits — including two doubles and a team-high two home runs — to go along with a team-high seven RBIs in addition to four runs scored.
Adryan went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs as Ohio topped host Eastern Kentucky, 10-4. He then helped the Bobcats pick up their first Mid-American Conference series victory of the 2016 season as Ohio took two of three games from East Division rival Buffalo over this past weekend. Adryan doubled and scored a run in the series opener. He then helped the Bobcats secure a Sunday doubleheader sweep of the Bulls.
Adryan smacked the go-ahead two-run home run in the bottom of the sixth inning as Ohio beat Buffalo, 3-1, in the first game of the doubleheader. He then went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored as the Bobcats posted a 6-5 walk-off win over the Bulls in the second game of the doubleheader.
Adryan has posted a team-high 14 multi-hit games and 10 multi-RBI games. He has now belted a career-high 11 home runs this year and 18 in his career.
The ‘Cats will hit the road to take on the Dayton Flyers on Tuesday, April 12. First pitch is set for 4 pm.
