CINCINNATI (AP) — The Crosley Field Historic Site is being opened to visitors on property where the Cincinnati Reds for decades played major league baseball.

Reds team historian Greg Rhode will provide a guided tour Wednesday. The usual tour will be self-guided, with brochures available at the City Gospel Mission that moved in 2015 to property where Crosley Field once stood. The Reds moved to a new stadium in 1970.

The site includes a large mural depicting Crosley Field during the mid-1950s. The site has replica foul poles, a replica light tower and replica seats, and base markers.

The Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame and Museum has provided historical photos for the site, which is free to visitors.

The Reds’ museum is funding most of the project cost and is selling personalized bricks.
