npr-oneListeners to National Public Radio now have a unique way to get content via the NPR One app. NPR One connects listeners with a stream of public radio news, stories and podcasts focusing on topics and discussions that you choose.

WOUB’s content, including short form features, the local discussion programs Conversations from Studio B and Innovation Conversations, local and national newscasts and podcasts, are available and are ready when the time is convenient for the listener.

“It’s an innovative way for people to listen to NPR and local news and features,” said Rusty Smith, director of Radio. “It gives people the option of letting the app know if they are interested or not interested in the content and the app will adjust to suit the listener.”

Smith goes on to explain that local and national news is available on demand and other content, as well as local and NPR features.

The NPR app is available on both iPhones via iTunes and Android via Google Play for mobile devices and available on a desk top computer. Viewers must designate WOUB as their station of preference.
