Gladden House Sessions 2016: Zeb Dewar
< < Back to gladden-house-sessions-2016-zeb-dewarThis episode of the 2016 Gladden House Sessions features Portland, OR-based Zeb Dewar and his band: Emilee Booher, Dan Galecki and Perry Pfister.
Their songs have the vibe of DIY band, but with extremely clever songwriting. Zeb Dewar has released four albums in the last 12 years, the most recent being Everything is Wrong, released earlier this year. Dewar is originally from the Appalachian region and many of his songs reflect this upbringing. Dewar was once part of the Wailin’ Elroys, based out of Athens, OH.
For their set, Zeb Dewar and his band opened up with the upbeat “Take it Easy,” followed by “Sour Grapes & Bitter Pills,” and “People’s Republic.” The band closed out the set with “All My People,” which describes the current struggles of Appalachia.
