Ohio Wrapping Up Survey on English, Math Curriculum Changes

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Interested groups and individuals have through Monday to review and comment on proposed changes to Ohio’s learning standards for English language arts and math.
That’s when the Ohio Department of Education closes its online survey seeking feedback. Input will be accepted through 5 p.m.
The proposed changes are intended to clarify text and better match certain standards to their intended grade levels.
Responses to an initial survey administered this spring were used as a starting point for the adjustments. Advisory committees culled through more than 1,000 comments to determine which standards changes to propose.
