After losing on the last snap to Chillicothe last week, the Jackson Ironmen came out on fire against West Jefferson en route to a 49-9 victory.

It was just complete domination on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball for the Jackson Ironmen in their first home game of the year.

Bryce Hall led the charge for Jackson accounting for all four offensive touchdowns in the first half, throwing three and running for one. He was hitting on all cylinders racking up the passing yards throwing to his favorite backs, Johnny Farley and Blake McCoy.

Hall finished the game passing for 140 yards completing 7-12.

Johnny Farley was a main force on the ground with four rushes of 15 yards or more in the first half. Farley also reached the end zone on a 48-yard touchdown pass. West Jefferson just could not seem to take him down as it would take at least two or three defenders to tackle him.

Blake McCoy also had a huge game for the Ironmen on both offense and defense. McCoy had one interception and also totaled for three touchdowns, one receiving, one rushing and one on a 92-yard kick return.

The Ironmen looked just as strong on defense as well. Every time it seemed West Jefferson was gaining momentum to score, Jackson would create a turnover or make a stop on defense. The Ironmen forced 6 turnovers on the night.

West Jefferson just could not create a successful series on offense all night, only scoring one touchdown, which occurred in the 4th quarter. They finished the game totaling for 188 yards, 139 passing and 49 rushing.

This game really started to get out of hand in the 2nd quarter with Jackson putting up 28 points in the quarter alone. The Ironmen were on top 35-0 at the end of the 1st half, forcing a running clock for the entire second half.

It would be the same story in the second half as Jackson would continue with their big offense and strong defense, finishing the game with a 40-point victory.

The Ironmen look to keep the momentum rolling into next week as they take on the Western Brown Broncos at home next Friday, kickoff is at 7:00 p.m.
