Player Profile: Kamron Curry

Curry is a firecracker of a player for the Trimble Tomcats football team and he has proven his status as our Gridiron Glory Player of the Year Watchlist this season. At 5’11” and 175 lbs., Curry stops at nothing to complete a play, making him the star of the Trimble Tomcats.
Versatility is just another part of Curry’s game. One play, Curry will be in at quarterback. The next minute, the Tomcats will put him in as a running back. After Curry or another Tomcat scores, he will be in at safety. Curry is known as a key player with fleeting feet and smart plays,
His mother, Tanya North, says Curry takes a beating from players bigger than him every game and refers to him as “invincible” for never facing an injury thus far in his 10-year long career. The announcers love to shout the catch phrase “Curry on the carry” over the loud speakers as he works his way towards the end zone on numerous accounts.
From kick off to final whistle, Curry carries a lot of energy. He sometimes might not step off the field until Trimble has a sizable lead.
Last fall, Curry was an AP Division VII All-Ohio Special Mention and is expecting another similar recognition this year. As far as his future goes, his mother, Tanya, said he is interested in majoring in sports management in college.
