Hillary Clinton’s Husband Set To Visit Athens

According to the Ohio University Police, University Terrace from Union to Park Place, and Union from University Terrace to College Street will be shut down based on the arrival of the motorcade. The streets will be closed as the motorcade approaches, and reopen immediately once Clinton leaves.
Following in his wife’s recent footsteps, Bill Clinton will tout her economic agenda during a campaign stop in Athens County.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign team announced that the former president would be visiting College Green from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4. The public will be admitted to the event starting at 9:15 a.m.
The campaign also announced the bus tour will also stop in Jefferson and Stark Counties on Oct. 4 and Oct. 5.
Bill Clinton will “lay out the high stakes of November’s election for Ohio’s working families and talk with Ohioans about Hillary Clinton’s plans to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” according to the announcement.
The Democratic presidential nominee visited Athens during a bus tour in May.
Ohio’s voter registration deadline is October 11. Early voting begins in Ohio on October 12.
