West Virginia Hopefuls For Governor Slated For Final Debate
< < Back toCHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) – West Virginia’s Democratic and Republican nominees for governor will face off in their second and final head-to-head debate.
Billionaire Democratic businessman Jim Justice and Republican state Senate President Bill Cole will participate in the West Virginia Broadcasters Association debate Tuesday.
The event will take place at 7 p.m. at the Clay Center for the Performing Arts in Charleston.
Justice and Cole are vying to fill Democratic Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin’s seat. Tomblin is reaching his two-consecutive-term limit.
Third-party candidates are not participating in the debate.
Cole and Justice last debated a week ago in Charleston.
