The role of deputy co-chair for Robert Paduchik was announced Thursday.
Trump said in a statement that Paduchik was a key leader in helping score a victory in an important battleground state.
The president-elect praised Paduchik’s strong relationships with Republicans across the country and his “impressive record” of winning key elections and said he’s confident he will work hard for the national GOP.
Trump won nearly 52 percent of the Ohio vote in November’s election. That topped Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s roughly 44 percent of the vote.
