Annual Cincinnati Reds Winter Caravan Stopping in Athens, Columbus
< < Back to annual-cincinnati-reds-winter-caravan-stopping-in-athens-columbusThe annual Cincinnati Reds Winter Caravan will make 17 stops this year, including a visit to Athens. The caravan will stop at The Market on State on Thursday, Jan. 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Athens is included on the caravan’s East Tour with other stops in Charleston and Parkersburg, W. Va. and Ashland, Ky.
Coming on the tour will be broadcasters Jeff Brantley and Jim Kelch, general manager Dick Williams, current players Steve Selsky and Drew Storen, minor leaguer Chris Okey, former player and Reds Hall of Famer Eric Davis and the Rosie Red mascot.
The caravan will also stop in Columbus as part of the North Tour on Thursday, Jan. 26 at Polaris Fashion Place. Reds broadcaster Marty Brennaman, outfielder Scott Schebler, minor league infielder Blake Trahan, former Reds infielder/outfielder Dmitri Young, team vice president and assistant general manager Nick Krall and Reds mascot Gapper will be participating in the Columbus stop. The caravan will be stopped from 7 to 9 p.m. in the state capital.
Fans in attendance at both stops will have the opportunity to participate in a question-and-answer session, receive autographs and photos and enter a raffle to win tickets to Opening Day.
Entrance and participation will be free for all fans.
