Waterford Sits Ranked in AP Poll

The Waterford Wildcats find themselves at #8 in the Division IV state rankings in the second poll released by the Associated Press.
Waterford (8-3) was the only TVC-Hocking team to be named in the poll and earned 82 points, four points behind Fort Recovery. McDonald (12-0) sits atop the poll with 215 points and 15 first place votes by a group of sports writers and broadcasters around Ohio.
The Wildcats moved up one spot from the ranked #9 spot in the first poll release.
Waterford still leads the TVC-Hocking after a 68-53 win over Southern (6-6) on Jan. 17 that kept them undefeated in the division. The Wildcats travel on Friday to Federal Hocking to take on a winless Lancers team.
