Wright State University Names First Female President

Schrader received her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Valparaiso University and her master’s and doctorate in electrical engineering at Notre Dame.
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) – Wright State University is ready to announce its new leader.
University trustees have scheduled a special meeting Monday to introduce and formally vote on the school’s seventh president.
The selected candidate will succeed President David Hopkins, who announced plans last year to step down June 30 at the school of nearly 18,000 students.
Students and staff have been offered opportunities to meet with finalists for the job through presentations and forums.
