Infant’s Death Considered A Crime

On Tuesday, EMS workers were called to a home on West State Street, in Athens, to tend to an unresponsive child. The baby was pronounced dead at O’Bleness Hospital.
According to the Athens Police, The preliminary autopsy report indicated a criminal investigation was necessary.
Late Wednesday night Jerry Wayne Andresen was arrested at the home where the infant was found. The 21-year-old’s next court date is March, 21, 2018. He’s being held on $100,000 bond.
