‘You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown’ at Stuart’s Opera House April 20-22
< < Back to youre-a-good-man-charlie-brown-at-stuarts-opera-house-april-20-22Stuart’s Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio hosts the Nelsonville-York High School Drama Club presentation of You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown, the musical with performances on Friday, April 20 at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, April 22 at 2 p.m. Based on the comic strip Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz, with the book, music, and lyrics by Clark Gesner, additional dialogue by Michael Mayer, additional music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, and directed by Dayton Willison. Stuart’s Opera House is excited to once again work with the Nelsonville-York High School Drama Club as part of our Arts Education Program on this fantastic performance.
The whole gang is here: Lucy, Schroeder, Sally, Linus, Snoopy, and Charlie Brown. Brief vignettes span the months from Valentine’s Day to Beethoven Day, from wild optimism to utter despair. The sweet, joyful innocence of the Peanuts gang comes to life in this classic musical. Whether you’re keen to fly with the Red Baron, moon over the Moonlight Sonata, or just do your best to find “Happiness”, this show is sure to delight you!
