Search For Missing Man In Hocking River Stopped

Crews searched approximately two miles of the river using sonar, search dogs, and rescue divers without any sign of the missing man, according to a release from the Athens County Emergency Management Agency.
Search units, including a canine unit, are still searching the Hocking River near White’s Mill in Athens. A 29-year-old man reportedly jumped in the water Saturday night and has been missing ever since. Crews searched until dusk yesterday, and renewed efforts this morning. pic.twitter.com/HV5uH34hJh

Search efforts began Saturday at approximately 8 p.m. when it was reported the 29-year-old man jumped into the Hocking River near White’s Mill in Athens.
