Lancaster Festival Celebrates Season of Firsts July 19-28< < Back to
The beloved summertime tradition that is the Lancaster Festival is occurring once again, Thursday, July 19 through Saturday, July 28. The festival includes oodles of free entertainment for the whole family, from performances from the legendary Lancaster Festival Orchestra to live music in downtown Lancaster at noon, to the annual artwalk on Friday, July 20. The festival also boasts Martina McBride, Dennis DeYoung of Styx, and Full Moon Fever, a Tom Petty tribute act, as headliners.
2018 marks a year of transition for the festival, as former executive director Ken Culver retires and is replaced by Deb Connell starting in September. WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke with both Culver and Connell as the 2018 edition of the festival draws near.
