WOUB-HD to Broadcast ‘Skindigenous’ Starting Sept. 16

Starting Sunday, September 16, WOUB-HD will begin broadcasting Skindigenous every Sunday at 2 p.m. EST. The 13-part documentary series uses the art of tattooing to look closely at some of the world’s oldest cultures and how tattooing reflects their various perspectives on the human condition, identity, and history.
WOUB’s Emily Votaw spoke to Jim Kisor, the artist and owner at Athens’ Decorative Injections about his personal history with tattoos, what his goals as an artist are, and the commonalities he sees in various people seeking to ink their bodies. Listen to the entire interview embedded above.
