State Rep. Rick Perales, a Beavercreek Republican, chairs the 2019-20 Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Technology Committee. He says applicants for the group could include military representatives, academic experts or industry leaders.
Perales says the only way for Ohio to succeed in promoting its major aviation and aerospace sectors is through collaboration with experts on how to move forward.
Those interested in one of 14 public slots on the committee have until May 8 at 3 p.m. to apply. Those chosen will represent a diverse geographic mix.
Besides public members, the panel includes three legislators each from Ohio’s Senate and House and a member appointed by the governor.
