< < Back toEvery weekend local music geeks unite to provide the region with 11 hours of creatively curated tunes on WOUB 1340AM, an endeavor that is known commonly as Radio Free Athens! Typically the program runs from 9 a.m. EST to 8 p.m. EST every Saturday, and can also be heard through this link.

It is block party weekend here in A-Camp so we present you with the annual Halloween Spooktacular. I will be on at 9 a.m. with all sorts of music related to it with the reading of “The Raven” from Lou Reed’s album of the same name happening at 11 a.m.

I haven’t had a DJ session all to myself in a minute, and I am looking forward to enjoying this one. I’m looking to induce the sort of feelings with my set that could only be brought about by the possession of the spirits. My grandfather was a strange man who died very prematurely, but he loved sound effects records and Roger Miller’s “King of the Road,” and I am looking to carry on his legacy with perhaps my spookiest set yet!
