No Longer Rare
20 or less years ago (depending where you live), before the age of touchscreen access to billions of songs, one needed to seek out that rare recording. This often involved risk; going to clandestine locations called “record stores”, or meeting in dark alleys with sketchy, almost-human “collectors”. This week’s isolation list consists of songs that were only rumored to exist, because they were not included on an artist’s own official releases, were B-sides of singles, or long-since deleted/out-of-print titles.
