Ironton Survives Another Thriller In Overtime Showdown

IRONTON, Ohio (WOUB) – The Ironton faithful had no time to recover from the fireworks in week two. The Fighting Tigers hosted the Fairland Dragons in a conference slugfest.
It was a back and forth affair with both teams trading critical blows. Extra football was needed to settle this one as both teams remained tied following regulation. Ironton quarterback Jon Wylie took matters into his own hands finding the end zone in overtime to walk it off 20-14.
Ironton will host Div. I powerhouse Moeller in week four.
