The Bellaire Big Reds traveled to Fleming Field to take on the Shadyside Tigers Friday night.

The Tigers put their undefeated record on the line, and they were able to get on the board first with a 14-yard rush by Benjamin Wach. After that second quarter score, Shadyside would go into halftime up 6-0.

The Big Reds were able to get on the board to start the second half with a rushing TD Colt Sechrest giving them a 7-6 lead.

But in the fourth quarter, Shadyside was able to regain the lead with a five-yard rush by Wyatt Reiman. However, the Tigers failed the two point conversion putting the score at 12-7.

After a big stop by the Big Reds defense, the Bellaire offense drove down the field and capped off the drive with a Jake Heatherington pass to Jakob Dowling, giving Bellaire a 13-12 lead.

The Tigers offense was unable to get anything and turned it over on downs, putting an end to the game and to their undefeated record.

The Big Reds advance to 7-1 and are now ranked second in the Ohio Valley AAA conference.
