Granville’s undefeated season ends in the State Semifinals

LONDON, Ohio (WOUB) — The Badin Rams and the Granville Blue Aces met in the Division III state semifinals Friday night. Both teams were undefeated heading into the final four, but only one would keep that claim by the night’s end.
Thanks to a strong defensive outing and an impressive running performance, the Rams shut out the Blue Aces 14-0.
The player of the game was Badin running back Jack Walsh. Walsh finished the game with 226 yards on 43 carries while also finding the end zone twice.
The Rams also played lights out defense only allowing 178 total yards of offense and forcing two turnovers.
Granville ends their impressive season 13-1 as Badin travels to Canton to take on Chardon (15-0) in the state championship.
