Meigs Lady Marauders bounce back from last season with strong start to ’21 – ’22

After a disappointing season with no playoff wins, the Meigs Marauders enter the 2021-2022 campaign by returning All-State Honorable mention Mallory Halwey.

Heath Hudson discussed the high aspirations the team has with the return of Halwey.

“Our goal is to win the TVC,” Hudson said “That’s always the goal. TVC-Ohio is going to be tough this year. Everyone is right there in the mix…but that is always our goal, we take it one game at a time.”

Along with the return of Hawley, a key factor that will be crucial to the success of the Marauders is their young core which includes six sophomores.

Meigs has opened this season by showing improvement from last year and will look to build off the hot start for a chance to win the TVC and post a run in the playoffs.
