Nelsonville-York Buckeyes believe in program turnaround in ’21-’22
< < Back to nelsonville-york-buckeyes-believe-in-program-turnaround-in-21-22After finishing last in the TVC-Ohio, the Nelsonville York Buckeyes are looking to turn the tables heading into the 2021-2022 season.
The Buckeyes understand how they may be viewed but that does not impede their goals for the season.
“Our goal is to win the league like everyone else,” head coach Blaine Gabriel said. “Nobody expects us to win except the guys sitting in [our] locker room.”
Nelsonville York has a very young roster with only one senior in the rotation.
Despite the youth of the team, Gabriel asks for nothing less than 110 percent from the team.
The Buckeyes will look to use the underdog mentality to their advantage in their efforts to win the TVC and post a strong run in the postseason.
