Guided By Voices headlined IndieCraft at Mother Stewart’s Brewing (102 W Columbia St, Springfield, OH) on May 13, 2022. Keeping songs short-but-plentiful and booze cooler at hand, the prolific indie rock band from Dayton, OH has fostered an enduring cult following.
The sold-out show was the only ticketed event during the otherwise free music festival due to crowd control and capacity concerns, according to event organizer Visit Greater Springfield. GBV fans from the Miami Valley and beyond posted up early in the beer garden to snag a spot up front.
Speaking Suns from Yellow Springs, OH opened the show on the taproom stage.
