NELSONVILLE, Ohio (WOUB) —
S.G. Goodman played a solo Sycamore Session set on the rainy Sunday afternoon of the 2022 Nelsonville Music Festival. Performing with just a hollow body electric guitar, Goodman filled the space with her beautiful voice and songwriting.

Before opening with “Space and Time” off 2020’s “Old Time Feeling” (Verve Forecast) Goodman notes fellow NMF alum Tyler Childers sometimes covers the song.

She then played “If You Were Someone I Loved” from 2022’s “Teeth Marks (Verve Forecast) followed by that album’s eponymous track.

She finished the set with another cut off “Old Time Feeling,” “Red Bird Morning,” before closing out her Sycamore Session with the unreleased “Solitaire.”

SET LIST

6:21 – “Space and Time”

15:10 – “If You Were Someone I Loved”

19:49 – “Teeth Marks”

The Sycamore Sessions are presented by the Nelsonville Music Festival in collaboration with WOUB Public Media and the Ohio University Scripps College of Communication’s School of Media Arts and Studies.
