Ohio Learns 360 Project Update
Ohio Learns 360 – November Update
There is a lot happening with the Ohio Learns 360 Project. The Ohio Learns 360 hub is your place to find all the information about upcoming and past events in this project. Here’s a November update for you.
Camp in A Box
Most boxes in our area have been distributed and teachers in After School Programs have been trained to use them effectively in their programs. If you didn’t get a set of boxes in this round, follow us on social media or subscribe to this newsletter so you will be first to know when the new boxes arrive. We expect 3 sets of boxes this year.
After School 360
Join us every Tuesday at 4pm for a favorite episode from PBS Kids, a Read Along and a fun activity. November will bring us episodes of Nature Cat, Cyberchase, Xavier Ridder and Odd Squad. We’ll be making art with found nature items, bird kites, and creating and decorating geometric shapes.
Family Webinars
The November live monthly webinar is November 9th at 6pm. This month’s topic is bullying and will explore how families can identify bullying when it’s happening and discuss key strategies for keeping kids safe. Topics will focus on children in grades K-5 and will include types of bullying, resources for families, and suggestions for working with schools. You can also view the October webinar or share it with families who may have missed it.
Virtual Field Trips
The next field trip will be Dec 8th and will explore Christmas around the world. You can find the link to our first virtual field trip – The Cleveland Museum of Natural history on the hub as well.
