Smarter collaboration serves both employers and employees, says Professor Heidi Gardner

Heidi Gardner is a Distinguished Fellow at Harvard Law School, a former professor at Harvard Business School, and the leader of multiple executive education programs. She and her team have compiled vast research on why collaboration matters, and how we can be better at it. And today she shares tips from her book (written with Ivan Matviak), Smarter Collaboration – A New Approach to Breaking Down Barriers… and Transforming Work. Heidi will explain why collaboration is more important than ever, for both individuals and organizations. She’ll describe common hurdles blocking collaborative activity, and mention tools to help you diagnose roadblocks in your workplace.
