This moving special goes beyond the music, introducing real-life heroes like Medal of Honor recipient and Green Beret Colonel Paris Davis, Vietnam War Veteran. Get to know trailblazer Evelyn Kandel, a 90-year-old Korean War Era Veteran who paved a way for women to serve their country. Laugh and cry as the hilarious Jon Stewart sits down with Veterans of all service branches and generations. Their stories of courage and camaraderie are inspiring.

On Veterans Day, we come together as a nation to honor, remember, and thank those who have served and continue to serve our country. With great music, powerful stories, and a lot of gratitude, Salute to Service is a way to celebrate our love for country and show our deepest thanks to the brave people who have given so much.

In a world where people can often be divided, Salute to Service brings us together. Our service members are a testament to the American ideal that no matter where we come from or what we believe, we are all connected as a nation. From Pearl Harbor to 9/11, our nation has always been shaped by those who stood up in the wake of pivotal events and said, “I will serve.”

Through inspiring music, the Soldiers of the United States Army Field Band unite us in a collective salute to the generations of heroes who have defended our nation. This Veterans Day, let us take a moment to reflect on their service, sacrifice, and the enduring spirit of America.
