Here are the unofficial 2023 General Election results for Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – Here are the unofficial results for contested races and local issues in Jackson County.

John C. Dupree earned a position as Wellston City Auditor with 70.29% of the vote. Kathy Helm earned 29.71% of the vote.

Paul A. McNeal earned a position as Village Mayor of Oak Hill with 76.36% of the vote. Tara Cooper earned 23.64% of the vote.

Steven Dwayne Campbell earned a position as Oak Hill Village Council with 92.22% of the vote. Write-Ins earned 7.78% of the vote.

Timothy Wheatley earned a position as Coal Township Trustee with 55.64% of the vote. Glen R. Linton earned 44.36% of the vote.

Gerald Fulkerson earned a position as Hamilton Township Trustee with 57.87% of the vote. Jeremy Mollett earned 22.55% of the vote. Daniel Evans earned 10.64% of the votes. Dakota Moore earned 8.94% of the votes.

Joseph L. Tanner earned a position as Jackson Township Trustee with 61.89% of the vote. Lindita Dilley earned 38.11% of the vote.

Daniel Parker earned the position of Jefferson Township Trustee with 50.75% of the vote. Harold E. Adkins Jr. earned 49.25% of the vote.

Jim Slone earned the position of Jefferson Township Fiscal Officer with 50.42% of the vote. Kenneth E. Adkins earned 49.58% of the vote.

Melodie S. Walker earned a position as Lick Township Fiscal Officer with 87.35% of the vote. Write-ins earned 12.65% of the vote.

Aaron Lemaster earned a position as Scioto Township Trustee with 51.4% of the vote. Bryan Durham earned 34.41% of the vote. Mack Taylor Jr. earned 14.19% of the votes.

Judy L. Kiefer earned the position of Scioto Township Fiscal Officer with 86.71% of the vote. Write-ins earned 13.29% of the vote.

Jona Bates earned a position Washington Township Fiscal Officer with 60.1% of the vote. Alisha Adkins earned 39.9% of the vote.

Larry Carter earned a position Gallia Local School District with 41.12% of the vote. Beth James earned 21.5% of the vote. Terry Halley earned 17.76% of the vote. Sheri Marcum earned 13.08% of the vote. Mickey Browning earned 6.54% of the vote.

Kyle J. Hickey earned a position in the Jackson City School District with 53.22% of the vote. Michael Perkins earned 46.78% of the vote.

Timothy Howard earned a position at Oak Hill Union Local School District with 55.97% of the vote. Write-ins earned 27.22% of the vote. J F Rupert earned 16.81%.

Jeri Kendrick earned a position at Vinton Co Local School District with 66.6% of the vote. Scott Phelps earned 33.33% of the vote.

Adam D. Massie earned a position at Wellston City School District with 37.31% of the vote. Gerald Brian Kilgour earned 35.81% of the vote. Matthew R. Peterson earned 26.88%.

Voters in Jackson County approved a Jackson County EMS – Tax Levy with 61.53% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Jackson County approved a Jackson County Senior Citizens – Tax Levy with 67.53% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Coalton voted down a Current Expenses Levy with 55.29% of voters casting ballots against.

Voters in Coalton voted down a Police Levy with 51.16% of voters casting ballots against.

Voters in Oak Hill approved an Cemetery Levy with 71.15% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Oak Hill approved a Current Expenses Levy with 59.44% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Oak Hill approved a Parks and Rec Levy with 68.72% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Oak Hill approved a Street Lighting Levy with 67.23% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Wellston approved a Streets Levy with 62.37% of voters casting ballots in favor.

Voters in Wellston voted down a Parks and Rec Levy with 66.08% of voters casting ballots in favor.
