3. Trimble Tomcats | 13-6 (Conf. 5-3)
The Tomcats had more crucial conference play this past week. On Tuesday night, the Southern Tornaodes touched down in Glouster. The first time the two teams played, Trimble took the win. They were able to do the same this time around taking the victory 59-58.
The Tomcats also played the Waterford Wildcats in a rematch. Trimble won 67-62 the last time the two met. On Thursday it was a different story, despite only having 11 turnovers and outrebounding Waterford. The Tomcats fell to the wildcats 64-52.

4. Waterford Wildcats | 9-8 (Conf. 4-4)
The Waterford boys had a week in line with their position in the Hocking. Their week began with a high-scoring loss to the high-flying Federal Hocking Lancers. Despite scoring the most points in any game this season, they still fell 77-68.
They had more success later in the week against a team that eeked out a win against them earlier in the season. After a tough road loss to the Trimble Tomcats earlier this year, the Wildcats avenged their loss with another dominant offensive performance, winning 64-52. Jarrett Armstrong lifted Waterford to an insurmountable first half lead with 18 points in the half.

5. Southern Tornadoes | 8-10 (Conf. 1-7)
Southern started the week off on the road against Trimble. The Tornadoes stayed in the game for as long as they could and fell short by just one point to the Tomcats.
Later in the week Southern faced off with one of the two tied for first in the Hocking in Belpre. The Tornadoes just couldn’t keep pace with Belpre and fell 64-49.

6. Eastern Eagles | 2-12 (Conf. 0-7)
The Eagles have notched a third win this season. The boys took down the Clay Panthers on Jan. 27 with a score of 54-46. Eastern after this win had a tough three games ahead. The Eagles lost their next three games to very strong opponents. Three straight away games are already tough as is, but when your opponents are, South Galia, Belpre, and reigning TVC-Hocking champions the Federal Hocking Lancers, anything but a loss would be surprising.

TVC-Hocking Girls Standings
1. Waterford Wildcats | 15-3 (Conf. 8-1)
The Waterford girls had a daunting slate this week with the Newark Catholic Green Wave and the Federal Hocking Lancers. The week began with an instant classic as the Wildcats journeyed to Newark Catholic.
The teams traded blows throughout four quarters, and they remained deadlocked, forcing overtime. An injury to Laykyn Jones at the end of regulation gave the Green Wave the slight edge, allowing them to escape with a 62-61 victory.
They were not out the woods yet. On Thursday, they traveled to Stewart to clinch a share of the TVC-Hocking crown. In a dominant defensive performance, Waterford secured their share of the conference crown with a 44-25 win. — Charlie Ihlenfeld
2. Federal Hocking Lancers | 14-5 (Conf. 7-2)

The Wildcats surged on offense all game, being led by Kendall Sury’s 15 points and Avery Wagner’s 14. Federal Hocking did have one bright spot on the offensive side, with Takira Walker finishing with 16 points.
