POMEROY, Ohio (WOUB) – Sun Dweller is a stoner metal power trio from West Virginia. This installment of WOUB Soundwaves features the group performing three heavy tunes from their debut full-length album, High Ride.

About Sun Dweller
• Sun Dweller is Seth Nulph on guitar and vocals, John Thompson on bass, and Ron Marsh on drums.
• The band formed during the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, with each member isolated. The band still rarely writes music while all members are in the same room.
• Sun Dweller covers Pink Floyd’s Eclipse on High Ride. The song’s focus on a balance of light and dark fit well with the album overall.
• All members of Sun Dweller balance making music with “full time jobs and full time families.” Drummer Ron Marsh is a coal mine foreman, bassist John Thompson works nights at a warehouse, and vocalist/guitarist Seth Nulph is a kitchen manager.
