Here are the 2024 general election results for Lawrence County

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) – According to unofficial results, 62 percent of registered voters in Lawrence cast ballots in the 2024 general election.  

Voters in the county supported Republican Donald Trump for president with 75 percent of the vote, followed by Democrat Kamala Harris with 24 percent.  

In the race for U.S. Senate, Lawrence County voters preferred Republican Bernie Moreno with 69 percent of the vote followed by Democrat Sherrod Brown with 27 percent.  

A majority of Lawrence County voters cast ballots against Issue 1 with 70 percent of the vote.  

Voters in Ironton approved a flood protection levy renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 2,170-2,012. 

Voters in South Point approved a fire levy replacement of 2 mills with a vote of 902-865. 

Voters in Elizabeth Township approved a fire levy renewal of 1mil for five years with a vote of 681-398. 

Voters in Lawrence Township approved a fire levy renewal of 1 mil for five years with a vote of 846-387. 

Voters in Upper Township approved a fire levy renewal of 2 mills for five years with a vote of 745-424. 

Voters in Washington Township approved a fire levy renewal of 1 mil for five years with a vote of 41-39. 

Voters in Fairland Local School District voted down an emergency levy additional of 4.9 mills for five years with a vote of 3,630-1,418.
