TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, Ohio (WOUB) — According to unofficial results, 13.22% of registered voters in Tuscarawas County cast ballots in the 2025 May primary election.
Voters in Bolivar approved the renewal of a 1.5 mills for 5 years police levy with a vote of 67-20.
Voters in Dover voted down an additional 1.5 mills for a continuing period fire and EMS levy with a vote of 198-180.
Voters served by the Gnadenhutten Public Libary approved the renewal of a 1 mill for 5 years levy with a vote of 154-28.
Voters in Lawrence approved the renewal of a 3 mills for 5 years fire and EMS levy with a vote of 258-126.
Voters in Mineral voted down a proposed 0.75 per cent income tax levy with a vote of 45-17.
Voters in the New Philadelphia City School District voted down a proposed 5.9 mills and 1 mill for 37 years and continuing bond issue and levy with a vote of 2,422-1,649.
Voters in the Strasburg-Franklin Local School District voted down a proposed 3.6 mills for 30 years bond issue with a vote of 729-251.
Voters in Sugarcreek approved a 1.8 mills for 4 years fire and EMS replacement levy with a vote of 18-10.
Voters in Uhrichsville approved the renewal of a 2 mills for 5 years fire equipment levy with a vote of 139-43.
Voters in Uhrichsville approved the renewal of a 2.85 mills for 5 years EMS levy with a vote of 140-42.
Voters in Union approved the renewal of a 0.48 mill for 5 years cemetery operation and maintenance levy with a vote of 729-251.
Voters in Warwick approved a 1.5 mills for 5 years EMS replacement levy with a vote of 68-42.
