Chillicothe Police Await Autopsy Results on Two Year Old
< < Back to chillicothe-police-await-autopsy-results-two-year-oldPolice in Chillicothe are waiting on autopsy results in the death of a two-year-old boy who was found dead in his home Saturday morning.
Officer Bud Lytle, with the Chillicothe Police, says the fire department responded to a King Street address after a 911 call from a woman who claimed to be the boy's mother. The woman told dispatchers the boy was unresponsive.
The boy's parents were questioned and released, says Lytle, and their three other children were taken into temporary custody. A hearing today will determine if the children will return to their parents.
The body was sent to the Montgomery County coroner for an autopsy. Lytle says charges may be filed once autopsy results are available.
