Tens Of Thousands Without Power As Severe Weather Moves Through Region

In Athens County there are multiple reports of trees down on Diamond Brook Rd. The following roads are also closed in the county because of high water.
Truetown Road from State route 13 to Township Road 409
Glen Ebon Road from US Route 33 to State Route 691
Millfield Road from Truetown Road to West Street
Frost Rad from Township Rad 182 to Township Road 1263
Reports of damage are coming in from trained spotters throughout the state. One spotter for the National Weather Service reported at least two large trees down on State Route 204 in Fairfield County.
Reports from Perry County include fallen trees, fires because of down power lines and hail about 0.7 of an inch in diameter. The Ohio Department of Transportation garage in New Lexington reported wind gusts of 48 miles per hour.
Portions of State Route 36 in Coshocton were closed because of high water.
Reports of damaged warehouse buildings in Hilliard and Columbus are also coming into the National Weather Service. The Columbus Police Department is reporting some people have sustained minor injuries because of broken glass.
According to AEP Ohio's outage map more than 70,000 customers are without power in the region. The following counties are reporting outages:

According to AEP Ohio's outage map 27,061 customers are without electricity in Franklin County. Other counties experiencing outages include:

Meigs: 366
