Chauncey Man Admits To Strangling Girlfriend With Cell Phone Cord

Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly says Cory Ringer, 25, admitted chocking his girlfriend during an interview with deputies.
Kelly says deputies received a call Sunday around 3:30 p.m. about female being held against her will at a house on Main Street.
Deputies say the girlfriend told them Ringer chocked her with the cord and held a knife to her neck.
Ringer is at the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail charged with felony assault and kidnapping.
