Marshall Looks To Increase International Student Enrollment
< < Back to marshall-looks-increase-international-student-enrollmentA Marshall University initiative to increase international student enrollment has drawn more than 160 students to campus.
The students are the first to be recruited through the INTO-Marshall program. The program is a partnership between Marshall and INTO University Partners, which helps recruit students who want to study abroad.
INTO-Marshall director Eric Fry says that the students include about two dozen undergraduates and about 30 graduate students. There also is a group from Brazil who will study at Marshall for one year through the Science without Borders exchange program.
Center for International Programs director Clark Egnor expects a total 400 international students this year, the same as last year. But he says international enrollment will grow quickly.
