Honda Parts Manager Arrested
< < Back to honda-parts-manager-arrestedA Honda parts manager in Marietta is facing charges after allegedly stealing several Harley Davidson parts from the business where he worked and giving them to his father-in-law to be sold on e-bay.
Washington County Sheriff's investigators say Hometown Honda's Zachary Michael, 31, of Marietta was arrested on a fifth degree felony charge of theft.
The business' general manager, Rick Mattos, 42, was also arrested for obstructing official business when detectives say he made false statements to police during questioning.
Investigators say the full extent of the alleged thefts and embezzlement will not be clear until a full audit of the business is conducted.
They also say it's unclear if Michael's relatives were aware that the items they listed for sale were stolen.
