Giants Waive Herman, Add To Practice Squad

Former Ohio offensive lineman Eric Herman was released by the New York Giants Saturday in the team’s final round of cuts.
Herman was the only Bobcat taken in the 2013 NFL Draft, selected in the seventh round by the Giants.
The Giants inked Herman to a four-year $2.2 million deal on May 22, suggesting the former Ohio lineman would make the 53-man roster.
Any team can now claim Herman on waivers.
