(Daniel Rader/WOUB) Robert Blankenship of Mount Lookout, West Virginia attended this year’s Easyriders Rodeo Tour on his own. “My wife won’t come out here because of the shenanigans that go on,” said Blankenship. “I don’t go to most of that but she saw some photos from when I brought my son. I took the heat for him when she found the photos. I’m not saying I go to that stuff but if it is happening in front of me I’m going to look.” Blankenship said he has been attending the rodeo nearly every year since he and his son drove through in 1994. (Jennifer Coombes/WOUB) Patty Foster participated in the sled races during the Easyriders Rodeo. The four day festival included several rodeo competitions. Miss Chrissy, who does not go by a last name, said she has been sewing patches onto biker leathers for 30 years. (Jennifer Coombes/WOUB) Rick Brown of Mason, Ohio, said this year was his 20th year to attend the rodeo. Brown said the best part of the festival continues to be the evenings in the camping area where festival goers put on their own music shows and acts. “It gets pretty wild,” said Brown. “You know, there is a stage back there that somebody set up. It’s a lot of fun.” (Jennifer Coombes/WOUB) Bruce Veres of Carleton, MI, attempts to keep his motorcycle in his lane during the slow race. During a slow race, competitors aim to finish the race last while keeping their motorcycle in their lane and never using the brake or putting either foot down on the ground.
