Ohio’s Ellen Isaac Wins MAC Woman Runner of the Week

Ohio junior runner Ellen Isaac won MAC Woman Runner of the Week with her time of 21:07.87 last Friday, winning the women’s 6K title at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championship.
She set a record time for the event and led the Bobcats to a first-place finish. The championship hosted 47 other teams and 592 runners, including MAC opponents Miami (OH), Akron, and Kent State. She ran a season best, beating her personal record by 15 seconds.
The ‘Cats will be back in action at the Pre-Nationals in Louisville, Ky. on Oct. 17. The race will be the final stretch before Ohio competes for the Mid-American Conference Championships on Oct.31.
