More Than 13,000 Voters Cast Ballots So Far In Ohio’s Election

With just over two weeks before Election Day, early voting is under way in the state. Voters will decide the fate of three statewide ballot initiatives.
One would legalize marijuana for medical reasons and recreational use, while another seeks to prevent monopolies from being inserted into the state constitution. A separate measure would overhaul how state legislative districts are drawn.
More than 1,700 local issues also are on the ballot.
Secretary of State Jon Husted says that of those who have so far voted absentee, nearly 11,000 did so in person while more than 2,000 cast ballots by mail.
He says over 123,000 voters have requested an absentee ballot.
